As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline and improve our product offerings, we have made the decision to discontinue services for the Cropster AmbientSensor on October 15, 2024. This decision means that the AmbientSensor will no longer be available for use or supported within Cropster’s platform.
This decision was not made lightly, and we want to assure you that our dedication to providing the best possible tools for coffee professionals remains steadfast. Our commitment to enhancing your experience and supporting your business growth continues to be our top priority.

We’re discontinuing the Cropster AmbientSensor due to a lack of sufficient interest to make the associated costs sustainable. While we believe it is a good idea, it is not practical to support it at this time. This decision allows us to focus on developing new features and enhancements that will ultimately provide a better experience for all Cropster users.
After October 15, 2024, the AmbientSensor will be discontinued and will no longer be operational within the Cropster platform. All AmbientSensor data will disappear.
No, your data from the AmbientSensor will not be available on the Cropster platform after October 15, 2024. We recommend exporting your data by printing a pdf of each page before this date as it will not be retrievable.
As of now, there is no planned replacement or new version for the AmbientSensor. We are always exploring new opportunities and partnerships to expand our hardware offerings.
No, we are not offering any discounts or refunds for the AmbientSensor. This is in alignment with our Terms of Service.
We are not accepting returns for the AmbientSensor device. However, since the device is built on a Raspberry Pi, it can be repurposed for other projects or recycled according to local electronic waste guidelines.
